Clinical psych research facility with inpatient and outpatient duties is seeking a psych NP interested in a full scope practice that includes all facets of psychiatry. The main focus of the practice is research, but with that is included the typical therapy sessions as well as individual consultations. The practice has been open since 2004 and has expanded significantly since then. (Tripled in office space and opened an inpatient facility)
The physician is well trained and willing to allocate considerable time to train the right candidate. There is currently one physician and one nurse practitioner, you’ll be the second NP. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who is interested in psychiatry, as you will have exposure to all types of ailments in many different settings. You will also work with a fantastic group of people who are dedicated to helping patients recover from mental illness.
